The Institute of Archaeology,
Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland
is pleased to invite to
the Second International Conference Copper and Trade.
After very fruitful first edition of the Conference in 2012 we would like to broaden our interest to copper acquisition, production, symbolism and distribution. Special attention will be also drawn to trade patterns in general. All issues related to the Mediterranean and northern part of Europe are welcome. Below you will find our proposition of several main themes of the conference, but please consider them only as a suggestion.
When?
The meeting is planned to be held on 9-11th October 2015. During the conference we also plan the International Workshop "On the Routes of Near East" summarizing three-year project "The Role and Significance of the Egyptian Impact on Socio-political Development of the Southern Levant in the Period of Early Bronze I".
Where?
The conference will take place at Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

We are waiting for your proposal till 15th June. The letter of acceptance will be send by the end of June.
Paper
Proposed paper should not exced 20 minutes.
Poster
Poster session is also planned. We prefer posters in size of A1 in portret layout.

Proceedings
The proceedings of the conference are planned. The papers will be peer-reviewed prior to publication and for this reason we need to collect articles very soon after the conference. Please be ready for submission by the end of October.
